Master Wong Hon Chi
Mr. Wong Hon Chi, Chairman of the Shanghai Baguazhang Association, world renowned martial arts guru, Gold winner for the World Cultural Achievement Award in 1999. The 5th generation supreme head master for Imperial Baguazhang. Known as the Father of Baguazhang in the present era.
For his multi talents such as his proficiency in calligraphy and geomancy study, he is also known as the first man in mastering the combination study of Chinese literature and martial arts.

Bagua Introduction
Baguazhang (The Eight Diagrams Palm) is one of the leading form of kungfu in Chinese martial arts. Movements derived from the theory of the ancient Book of Changes. It grows from one great primal to two elementary forms, to four symbols, to the eight hexagrams and sixty four hexagrams or never ending, then comes back to one again.
Significant features such as the basic pattern of going round in circles, combining attack and defense at the same time with only one movement, while using both vertical(yang) and horizontal(yin) strength together. It practices the moving foothold instead of standing foothold for basic training. The principle of spiral circling method has also proven to benefit people with high blood pressure, diabetes and cervical spine problem etc after persistent practice.
Shanghai Baguazhang Association
Shanghai Baguazhang Association is a provincial level non-profit organization registered under the Department of Civil Affairs in Shanghai China, by far it is the highest level of professional research and study organization in the field of Baguazhang in Mainland China. It aims to promote good health benefits of people and lift the overall standard of Chinese martial arts.
